The Sewing Parlour is decamping to Bexhill on sea’s De La Warr Pavllion for the Fashion event Front Row Fashion Show 2013 Gods and Monsters…on the 30th November (which is tomorrow folks!). We are upping sticks and creating a workshop in the foyer and I have devised little projects that you can create on the night.

1. The Collar Project …
This is a dainty accent to any outfit. Each package contains a vintage glass button and ribbon for the bow and it comes in a selection of fabrics from a 70’s floral velvet or a 50’s silk.
2.The Make Up Purse…
Learn how to sew a zip with this easy kit. It’s so easy you’ll surprise yourself and you’ll banish all your zip fears. You can choose from a range of colours and fabrics from a Vintage floral or woven silks and each kit contains a contrasting zip and bias binding and a ribbon to decorate your zip pull.
Each package costs only 5 pounds.. and I will be there to help with sewing tips and to show you around the machines. The kits comes with illustrated step by step instructions so you could take it home and tackle it yourself.
